Packing guide
Three simple steps. Your cluster arrives safe.
Don't have packing materials? Australia Post has you covered.
Walk into any Auspost shop — a large box and a roll of bubble wrap is about $20 all up. That's everything you need for steps 1–3.
Wrap it
Bubble wrap, 2–3 layers
Wrap the whole cluster — face, back, sides — in two or three layers of bubble wrap and tape it closed. The factory plastic faceplate stays on; it's already protecting the needles.
Snug, not crushed. If it feels like a soft pillow, you've nailed it.

Bag it
Slip it in a plastic bag
Drop the wrapped cluster into any sealable plastic bag and tape it shut. That's your rain insurance — depots get wet, boxes get left on porches.
Box it
Float it in a large box
Use a box noticeably bigger than the cluster. Pack bubble wrap, paper, or peanuts around all six sides so it sits in the middle and can't touch a wall.
Tape the seams shut, give it a gentle shake — if nothing moves, you're done.

Add insurance
Declare the value of your cluster when you book. It's a couple of dollars and means you're covered if anything goes wrong in transit.
Send us the tracking number
Email it to support.tachofi@gmail.com so we can watch for it and let you know the moment it lands.
That's it. Once it arrives, we'll email you to confirm — then the bench work begins.
Package it right, we'll take care of the rest.
Still unsure about a box size, a courier, or a label? Ask — we'd rather answer a question than receive a damaged parcel. Want to see what happens once it lands on the bench? Check the timeline.
